1. Access the Recovery Menu
On your ELLIPAL device, tap the account name (drop-down menu) in the top left corner > select "Add Account" > select "Recover via Seed Phrase."
2. Enter Your Seed Phrase
Input your 12, 15, 18, 21, or 24-word seed phrase in the correct order. (Note: Every word must be part of the standard BIP39 word list.)
3. Fill in Optional & Account Info
Passphrase: If you set a Passphrase when you first created the account, you must enter it now. Otherwise, the device will generate different addresses.
Account Details: Set a new account name and a new password for the device.
4. Complete Recovery Once submitted, your account will be restored.
Crucial Tips:
Spacing: Ensure there is only one space between words (usually autogenerated) and no space after the final word.
Verify Addresses: After recovery, always compare the new addresses with your original ones. If they differ, you likely made a mistake in the seed phrase order or the Passphrase.
Safety First: Never enter your seed phrase into any online device or website. Only enter it directly into your offline ELLIPAL hardware.
