How to set up the X Card?

1. Power On & Insert Card 

Press and hold the power button on the Starter to turn it on. Select "Create Wallet" and insert your X Card. (Important: Do not remove the card during the entire setup process.)

2. Select Seed Phrase Length 

Choose your preferred seed phrase length: 12, 18, or 24 words.

3. Set Card-PIN 

Create a numeric Card-PIN. This PIN is required to connect to the App and sign transactions. (Note: ELLIPAL does not store this PIN. If lost, it cannot be recovered, so please keep it secure.)

4. Back Up Seed Phrase (Critical) 

The Starter will generate and display your seed phrase. Write it down on paper in the exact order and store it in a safe, offline location. This is the only time the seed phrase will be shown.

5. Complete Verification Follow the prompts on the screen to verify your backup by selecting the correct words (you usually only need to confirm the first 4 letters of each word).

Post-Setup Tip: Once completed, your private key is safely stored in the X Card's security chip. For daily use, you only need your Phone (App) and the X Card. The Starter is only needed for the initial setup or if you need to recover the wallet.
