Introduction
This guide explains how to change your account name on:
● ELLIPAL Titan / Titan 2.0 / Titan Mini
● ELLIPAL X Card (via App)
What is an account name?
● The account name is a custom label you assign to your wallet
● It helps you identify and manage different accounts
● It does not affect your assets or wallet address
● It is NOT required for wallet recovery
⚠️ Wallet recovery only requires your seed phrase, not the account name.
Titan Series (Titan / Titan 2.0 / Titan Mini)
A. Access the Account List
Open and unlock your ELLIPAL device.
Tap the account name at the top center of the main screen.
B. Select the Account to Edit
In the “My Accounts” list:
● Locate the account you want to rename
● Tap the three dots icon on the right side
C. Enter Account Settings
Tap “Account name” in the menu.
D. Input and Save the New Name
● Delete the old name
● Enter your new account name
● Tap “Save” in the top right corner
E. Sync to App
After renaming on the device:
● Open the ELLIPAL App
● Scan the “Connect to App” QR code again
● This ensures the new name is updated on your phone
X Card (In App)
A. Access Account Management
Open the ELLIPAL App.
On the Assets page, tap the account name or icon in the top-left corner.
B. Open Settings
In the “My Account” list:
● Locate your X Card account
● Tap the settings (gear) icon
C. Modify the Name
Tap “Account name”.
D. Input and Submit
● Delete the old name
● Enter your new name (e.g., “Ellipal X Card”)
● Tap “Submit”
Notes
Changing the account name will NOT affect:
○ Your assets
○ Wallet address
○ Transaction history
Titan Series:
○ Requires re-connection to the App after renaming
X Card:
○ Name updates immediately in the App
Account names are stored locally:
○ They may reset after reinstalling the App or re-importing the wallet
