Introduction
This article explains the Send screen in the ELLIPAL App and highlights key fields and common warnings you may encounter when sending crypto.
The interface may vary depending on the blockchain and token.
This guide uses USDT (ETH) as an example, but the overall structure is similar across other networks.
The detailed signing process may vary by device (Titan, X Card, etc.) and is covered in device-specific guides.
Before You Send
● Ensure the network matches (e.g., USDT on Ethereum)
● Ensure you have enough native coin for gas fees (e.g., ETH)
● Double-check the address and consider a small test transfer
Send Screen (Key Steps & Fields)
A. Enter Recipient Address (To)
● Enter or paste the receiving address
● Or use Scan (recommended) to scan a QR code
Important:
● The address must match the selected network
● Sending to the wrong address cannot be reversed
B. Enter Amount
● Input the amount to send
● Or tap Max to send the maximum available
Note:
● The App will reserve native coin (e.g., ETH) for gas fees
C. Network Fee (Gas Fee)
● Displays estimated fee (paid in native coin, e.g., ETH)
● Fee updates dynamically based on network conditions
You can choose:
● Slow (lower cost, slower confirmation)
● Standard (recommended)
● Fast (higher cost, faster confirmation)
Important:
● Sending tokens still requires native coin for gas
● If insufficient, the transaction will fail
D. Customize Fee (Advanced)
For advanced users, you can manually adjust gas parameters.
● Gas Price: Total fee level (in Gwei)
● Priority Fee: Extra tip for faster inclusion
● Gas Limit: Maximum gas allowed for the transaction
Notes:
● Setting gas too low → transaction may be delayed or not confirmed
● Setting gas limit too low → transaction may fail
E. Submit Transaction
1. Review all details:
● Address
● Amount
● Network fee
2. Tap Submit
3. Complete signing using your device:
● QR code (Titan series)
● NFC (X Card)
After submission, the transaction will be broadcast to the blockchain.
Common Warnings & Messages
1. “No transactions with this address in the past 3 months”
What it means:
● This is a security reminder
● The address has no recent transaction history
What to do:
● Double-check the address carefully
● Confirm with the recipient
● Send a small test amount first
2. Insufficient Funds
What it means:
● Not enough balance to complete the transaction
Common reasons:
● Not enough native coin for gas
● Trying to send full balance without leaving gas
Solution:
● Add native coin (ETH / BNB, etc.)
● Reduce the send amount
3. Missing Memo / Tag (when sending to exchange)
What it means:
● Some exchanges require a Memo/Tag to identify your account
● If missing, the transaction may not be credited automatically
What to do:
You need to contact the receiving exchange support. Only the exchange can credit or recover the funds.
Provide the following information:
1. Transaction hash (TxID) and your sending wallet address
2. Blockchain name (e.g., XRP, XLM, HBAR)
3. Transaction time
4. Transaction amount
Additional tip:
● You may be asked to send a small test transaction with the correct Memo/Tag
● This helps the exchange trace your original transaction
Note:
● ELLIPAL cannot retrieve funds once sent
● Recovery depends entirely on the exchange
